1. What Data Can Be Deleted
You can request deletion of the following types of data:

- Account Data: If user accounts are implemented in the future
Local Storage (Agent Studio)
Most of your Agent Studio work is stored locally in your browser, not on our servers. To delete this data:
- Clear your browser's local storage and cookies
- Use your browser's privacy settings to manage site data
- Clear cache and browsing data from your browser settings
2. How to Request Data Deletion
Step 1: Submit a Deletion Request
To request deletion of your data from our servers, send an email to:
Step 2: Include Required Information
Your deletion request should include:
- Subject Line: "Data Deletion Request"
- Your Email Address: The email address associated with your data
- Additional Identifiers: Any other information that helps us locate your data (e.g., name used in contact forms, approximate dates of contact)
- Specific Requests: What specific data you want deleted (or "all data" for complete deletion)
- Verification: We may ask for additional verification to confirm your identity
⚠️ Important: Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. Make sure you have backed up any information you wish to keep before requesting deletion.
3. Processing Timeline
Once we receive your deletion request:
- Acknowledgment: We will acknowledge receipt within 48 hours
- Verification: We may request additional information to verify your identity (1-3 business days)
- Processing: Deletion will be completed within 30 days of verification
- Confirmation: You will receive confirmation once deletion is complete
4. Data Retention Exceptions
In some cases, we may be required to retain certain data:
- Legal Obligations: Data required by law to be retained for specific periods
- Dispute Resolution: Data necessary for ongoing legal proceedings or disputes
- Security: Logs necessary for security and fraud prevention (anonymized where possible)
- Backups: Data in backup systems will be deleted during the next backup cycle (typically within 90 days)
We will inform you if any exceptions apply to your deletion request and explain the reasons.
5. What Happens After Deletion
Once your data is deleted:
- Your personal information will be permanently removed from our active systems
- You will no longer receive any communications from us (unless you re-subscribe)
- Any previous interactions or records will be anonymized or deleted
- You can continue to use Synaptek Lab services, as most features don't require personal data
6. Clearing Local Browser Data
To remove data stored locally in your browser (Agent Studio work, preferences):
Google Chrome:
- Click the three-dot menu → Settings → Privacy and security
- Click "Clear browsing data"
- Select "Cookies and other site data" and "Cached images and files"
- Choose time range and click "Clear data"
Mozilla Firefox:
- Click the menu button → Settings → Privacy & Security
- Under "Cookies and Site Data," click "Clear Data"
- Select both options and click "Clear"
Safari:
- Safari menu → Settings → Privacy
- Click "Manage Website Data"
- Search for synapteklab and remove
Microsoft Edge:
- Click the three-dot menu → Settings → Privacy, search, and services
- Under "Clear browsing data," click "Choose what to clear"
- Select data types and click "Clear now"
